DreamWorks Animation’s latest feature garners top recognition.
ASIFA-Hollywood has announced the nominees for the 52nd Annie Awards, with DreamWorks Animation’s The Wild Robot leading the pack with 10 nominations.

The Wild Robot, directed by Chris Sanders, is nominated in the following categories:

- Character Animation
- Character Design
- Direction
- Music
- Production Design
- Voice Acting (Lupita Nyong’o and Kit Connor)
- Editorial
Following closely are Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (Aardman/Netflix), Inside Out 2 (Pixar/Disney), and Season 2 of Arcane (Riot/Netflix), each securing seven nominations. Notably, Wallace & Gromit and Inside Out 2 are contenders for Best Feature.
Juried Awards
This year’s Juried Awards honor individuals and organizations for exceptional contributions to animation:
- Winsor McCay Awards: Aaron Blaise, Eunice Macaulay, Normand Roger
- June Foray Award: Women in Animation
- Ub Iwerks Award: Alberto Menache
- Special Achievement Award: Directing at Disney: The Original Directors of Walt’s Animated Films
Ceremony Details
The 52nd Annie Awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025, at UCLA’s Royce Hall.
